We visited the Blue Mountains back in June 2009, and although it was bitterly cold, walking out to the Three Sisters was worth the added chill factor.

The Blue Mountains is a rugged region west of Sydney in Australia’s New South Wales. Known for dramatic scenery, it encompasses steep cliffs, eucalyptus forests, waterfalls and villages.  Katoomba, a major town in the area, borders Blue Mountains National Park and its bushwalkin...

2010 we signed on for with Elite Special Events Tours, taking us to Sturgis via Las Vegas.

It was the start of the bug that made us hungry for more adventures in America.  The tour was a great starting point for our next 4 trips to the States.

We meet great people along the way, saw some amazing scenery, didn't have to worry about where we were going or how to get there, we had a tour leader for that.   We didn't have to w...

There is so much to see and do in Yellowstone National Park.  One of my favourite places to explore.  My favourite part was viewing the Palette Spring Terraces.

Mammoth Hot Springs are a must-see feature of Yellowstone National Park in part because they’re so different from other thermal areas in the area. This is largely because limestone is a relatively soft type of rock, allowing the travertine formations to g...

May not be everyone's Ideal accommodation, but when we travel, like to mix up the accommodation.

Flashback today is to "Rim Rock Inn".  Part of our 2015 ride in Oregon, I was looking for somewhere unusual to stay. I found it, a Tee Pee on the edge of Joseph Creek  Canyon.  The ultimate glamping experience.

Clear skies, no city lights and amazing views as you sit back, relax, unwind and watch the s...

2014 we rode through Canada.  We hired our Harley Davidson from Trev Deeley Motorcycles at Vancouver.  Great Dealership and well worth checking out their bike museum.  Now days, they don't do bike hire, that has to be done through Eagle Rider Vancouver.

It was a great ride and my "Flashback Thursday" moment this week is The Log Cabin Pub.  We took in the Squamish State Hog Rally where we made friends f...

Esperance, one of the best kept secrets in the South west.  Located 714.2 km from Perth in the Goldfields-Esperance region of Western Australia on the Southern Ocean coastline.  This beautiful oasis with pristine beaches that include Blue Haven, West Beach, Lucky Bay and incredible surf beaches. The brightest, whitest sand & crystal clear turquoise waters.

Cape Le Grande National Park offers great camping, beaches and...

The beauty of Lassen Volcanic National Park, located in Northern California was part of our 2016 ride.  We left from Mt Shasta, I don't make huge ride days, but the hours slip away so quickly.  Leaving Mt Shasta via A-89, S/Volcanic Legacy Scenic Byway.

As the skies cleared from the early morning chill the warmth of the sun was just what we needed.  A great ride up from Mt Shasta on good roads and plenty of Forest to wind...

Mesa Verde National Park is an American National Park and UNESCO World Heritage Site located in Montezuma County, Colorado.  The Mesa Verde Dwellings are some of the best-preserved archaeological sites in the North American Continent.  Home of the Pueblo people from 600 to 1300 AD.  Sometime during the late 1190s, after primarily living on the mesa top for 600 years, many Ancestral Puebloans began living in pueblos they built...
